In hot and humid conditions the first rce of the day was for the 2yos where the topweight was the only runner in the small field to have raced.  Experience almost shone through until Exodus fought strongly along to rails to win from Bold Senator with Miss Wynette third.  Exodus is by Bernadini and is from the stakeswinner St Trinians and is her first foal.  In the next Dashitude returned to her best form storming home to win well from Detox with Gold Bundle third.  In winning Dashitude took her record to 12 starts for 6 wins and gave Amy Hermann a win on the flat after successfully riding in a steeplechase trial at Oakbank on Friday.

Fastnet Rock mare Essence returned to form first up from a spell with her victory in the third race defeating Filiar Invictus with Little Miss Bourke third while in the Len Smith Memorial Hcp top weight Sky Raider was too good in the two horse war down the straight  defeating the gallant Little Akie with Generous Beau third. 

The Phillip Stokes stable made it three for the day when Golden Dane defeated Differing Fortunes with Debeersonus third while the promising On Strike won the next from  Override with Minnymoo third.  Aeraise made it two from his last three starts in winning the Carbine Club Hcp from Into the Sun with Our Sphinx running third first up from a spell.  In the last race Ranger's Boy claimed victory by a nose from Gauss with Jersey Shore third
