The evening started out with Squeaker putting on a great set and not just the songs but the rapport with the crowd was great (they had been happy to chat with crowd members earlier in the evening as well). Although their songs might not as be as familiar as the main act there were a fair few members of the crowd up dancing before they had finished. Further details on Squeaker can be found at their website of Squeaker website . After a short break Pseudo Echo began their set starting with Stranger in Me from their first album then In Their Time followed by Stranger in Me. Then the tempo stepped up with Don't Go from Love an Adventure followed one of their new songs in Fighting The Tide. There is talk of more new songs and its hopefully that there will be a new album at some stage in the next 12 months (unlike in the 80s when they were young and the next album was the main focus to get the next song into the charts the band often has other responsibilities that puts projects such as a new album on hold for a while). Crowd favourites in His Eyes, Walkaway and I Will Be You where next on the list soon followed by a rollicking rendition of Living in a Dream. Fast Cars and Destination Unknown led into the second of the new songs in Suddenly Silent. Pseudo Echo then performed a fantastic cover version of Send Me An Angel before going back to one of the very first songs in Listening and the ever popular Funkytown. The final song of the night was Love an Adventure and before the crowd realised the show was over until next time. The band members were happy to come out for a chat after the show with keen fans and pose for photos when requested. Pseudo Echo are booked to return to Adelaide in December (after Bon Jovi so don't fear it doesnt clash!!) playing two Christmas Dinners at Adelaide Oval (see the Adelaide Oval website for details).
